Player statistic

Wigan St Jude’s 22 Kells ARLFC U18s 28

Kells U18`s had one hardest wins anyone would witness.
Travelling to a established side St Jude’s side with a bare 15 men, kells opened the scoring with a Jacob Johnson try and a Tadge Taylor conversion,
5 mins later Kells again crossed when live wire james Ennis split the line to go under again tadge converted , St Jude’s pulled a try back and then another  quick try put them back into contention, 12-8 HT. Second half kicked off and a mass brawl which saw Dylan Hurton, who had been outstanding, and Lewis Barwise sent from the field of play and one St Jude’s player , William Ennis then crossed the line, Kells looked good even with 11 players , tries back and forward and some tadge conversions , 22-18 .Kells had William "Goose" Ennis sent off for a huge shot on the St Jude’s centre, just a shame the ref deemed it late , down to 10 players the Kells young bulls dug deep with 15 mins remaining , james Ennis scored another clever try much to his girlfriends Niamh delight, who did three cartwheels on the touchline , 28-18, with 10 mins to go and 10 tired players 28-22,
As a coach this was one of the best performances ever seen , 15 lads down to 10 they all ran their blood to water ,
Jacob johnston picked up the mom and won the beer off as-well , all 15 players where outstanding ,
Joe Johnson shoulder and Morgan Kasiera wrist played through the pain barrier and injured prop Karl Garner was itching for a run out ( with a broken ankle)
These guys where awesome and a credit to the club. Next up, next Sunday at home Leigh Miners Rangers in the BARLA National Cup Round 2.
