What a result this is, 1st & 2nd today are also the two lads who will compete for this years singles title, Geoff Garratt and Malcolm Crossfield have both hit form at the right time, Geoff coming out tops today, but it will be a different story in the final now he's lost 4 shots on his handicap to his rival for the title, in the final he'll be giving Malcolm three shots, Malcolm commented later "Geoffs had a good round today but I was playing under extreme pressure because as well as playing my match for the society comp I was also playing my semi-final against 'Big BOOM BOOM Gary Batty' and now I've put Gary to the sword, we'll just have to see later next month when I play Geoff in this final who's top dog in this society, bring it on".
